"Orb," within the field of paranormal research, is a term used to describe a "ball of light anomaly" that seems to show up in a vast majority of photos taken by paranormal researchers throughout the world? "Orbs" are also the biggest source of paranormal photos provided as evidence of paranormal activity,even though, most credible Paranormal Investigators consider orbs exactly the opposite? So what exactly is this anomaly? Tyler R.I.P. breaks "Orb" photos in three different categories! A Natural Orb is exactly what it says, it is an "Orb" by the definition given above that is caused by a natural environment! Some great examples of this would be Flying Insects, Spiders, Dust, and even certain plants or flowers have been shown to reflect as an orb in a picture! The easiest way to spot a natural orb is to look for signs of reflected light! A true light anomaly should not be a reflective surface!This type of orb also seems to be most common with Digital Photography A man made orb is a light anomaly created in photos through a man made source! For example, The heads of nails, screws, and any other metallic object used in modern construction seem to be a great source of man made orbs! Especially Colored orbs! Depending on beliefs this could be a sign of not only and orb but a happy/upset one at that? More examples of man made orbs are, cars, camera straps, mirrors, even your digital camera can create orbs through pixelization errors! Again look for reflection in your orbs, if it appears that the light is reflected then it probabaly has a completely logical explanation behind it! An anomalous orb is an orb that leaves no known expanation of how, why, and where the anomaly came from! This does not mean that the orb is necessarily super natural or spiritual in nature! IT just simply means that by todays standards and beliefs the source of the anomaly can not be explained! Truly anomalous "orbs" make up a very small portion of all light anomaly reports, probably around 1%!
