Guidelines

1. All Tyler R.I.P. members will have identification and be listed as members on the Web site. 2. NONE of Tyler R.I.P.’s members will charge for an investigation. 3. We do not use Ouija boards, séances or psychics during any investigations.   4. During an investigation, we request that only the homeowners be present. We request that those present must be at least 18 years of age. 5. There will be no horseplay of any kind during an investigation. This is to prevent injuries or any interference with evidence. 6. We request that there be no smoking in the location being investigated. 7. ABSOLUTELY NO alcohol or drug use during an investigation. This is so all parties can be alert and levelheaded at all times. 8. We do not condone enticing or provoking of spirits. Please treat others as you wish to be treated. 9. All investigations will be confidential per your request. All names and locations will remain private unless we have prior written consent. 10. If at any time during an investigation you feel uncomfortable, please contact a senior team member. 11. Also, Tyler R.I.P. has the right to stop an investigation at any time or refuse a case if we feel that it is necessary. This could include, but is not limited to, planted evidence or situations that may put our team or you in danger.

What to expect from us at an Investigation

After a request for an investigation has been made, you will be contacted by a Tyler R.I.P. representative who will set a date and time for a preliminary interview. During the preliminary interview, details about the investigation will be discussed and a quick walk-through of the investigation location will occur. If the preliminary interview cannot be arranged, a Tyler R.I.P. representative will contact you to discuss the case in detail. Then a date and time will be arranged by both parties for the investigation. On the day of the investigation, our team will arrive at least one hour prior to the investigation so that any other details can be arranged and equipment set up. While the investigation is occurring, we will do EMF (Electro Magnetic Field) sweeps, take pictures, record with both analog and digital video recorders and perform EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena) recordings. We will also take temperature readings and record all data we collect on the investigation. After the investigation, we will clear all areas of our equipment and return the area to its original state. Our investigators will review all evidence in a timely manner by using all available software Tyler R.I.P. has. You will be contacted whether or not ANYTHING is found after all evidence has been reviewed. Request for copies of evidence can be arranged through the case manager.
